A Long Lunch with Miracle
Miracle surpassed all expectations and has been widely lauded as one of the best GSC speakers to date. Very, very funny man. Richo was at his polished best and Will Fowles ran a superb, and very entertaining auction.
The panel gave some decent mail, although big question marks over Brad Spicer after he tipped Prince Harada to win not only the Guineas but the Cox Plate…stinking advice.
Special mention also to the Nelson Twins, who had the tough assignment of maintaining the attention of the crowd at 4:00 – but they too were very funny. All up a cracking day.
Most importantly, we raised over $25,000 – a GSC record. All money will be used to make sport more accessible for disadvantaged young people – the majority will go to the Mirabel Foundation. Thank you all for contributing so generously this is an awesome effort.
